A Course in Miracles states that the ego uses the body for attack, for pleasure, and for pride. However, the Holy Spirit sees the body only as a means for communication. Ask for the Holy Spirit to teach you the right means for the body. This is where healing will occur. The body is sinless and guiltless. It does only what the mind tells it to do. The body is completely neutral and does not will disease or illness upon itself. If you want to heal your body you must first heal your mind.

Forgive yourself for all past judgements you have placed upon your body. Allow your mind to focus on the present moment and the new beliefs you wish to instill about the body. When you view the body as a means to serve, it will release you from the imprisonment of guilt and shame. You will become a soul living in a body, here to create and express yourself, in harmony with the world around you. You will celebrate the body and its amazing capabilities. It will no longer keep you separate from your brothers and sisters, but allow you to join in communion with them, as God intended.
We live in a world that worships bodies. Being the right height, the right size, the right body fat percentage is more important to the ego and it will lead to an imbalance in our soul. Our chakras will go out of alignment as we praise an illusion that continues to change. The body is temporary, the Spirit is forever. Live through the Spirit and let it work through you to heal your relationship with your body. To love yourself totally and completely and love others this way as well. Give yourself permission to express yourself freely and authentically and be an example of God's love here on earth, ever present. Take care of the body by giving it clean food so it can live long and thrive. Eat food from the earth that carries high vibrations rather than processed "dead" foods that leave you feeling sluggish and ill. This is the way to a healed body, a mind that only knows how to give and receive love, without fear, accepting of all its brothers and sisters.
